ANZ Branch Belmont

Went down to the branch to withdraw $10k to pay for a boat, they told me they don't keep that kind of money at the branch and I need to book an appointment to withdraw $10k, are you serious? Next I'll have to book an appointment to buy a round of drinks at the pub!!! just like a pub it has to have large amounts of beer, a bank has to have money, that's what they are for, to keep large amounts of money.
The combank across the road does let you withdraw without appointment so I opened a new account there.
